I heard the children’s section before I saw it as Rhymetime was in full swing with Mark Speedy giving it his all and getting the rhyme-timers to stretch to the ceiling and sing along.

Library staff Chris Myhill and Chrissy Milburn joined me up with a rather splendid green alien card which i immediatly used to borrow @yasmeeny‘s wonderful story of imagination Nothing!… The library boasts a brilliant teen section complete with an impressive Manga and graphic novel section my teen self was jumping for joy inside.

Make sure you check out this years Northern Childrens Book Festival in November which will host loads of fabulous events in both schools and libraries.
