Stamford Library, Lincolnshire

I had such a warm welcome from Stamford Library where staff Lea Rickard, Catherine Mainstone, Jane Barber, Denise de Salis and Lynn Beechey showed me around and got me to write a line of poetry as part of a wonderful poetry prompt project. A young boy asked me who my favourite author is (David Almond) and a toddler exclaimed that she hasn’t borrowed books this time but will get some next time!
I borrowed @chrishaughton’s brilliant Goodnight Everyone about a little bear who just doesn’t want to sleep.
