I caught Librarian Jaclyn Smith at Tullibody Library at a tricky time, it’s her last day at this library, a library she has lovingly overseen since 2015! Because as of next week the library is moving into Tullibody South Campus, a primary school where its children’s section will be quite a bit bigger but still Jaclyn will miss the smaller current space where she painted the brilliant jungle mural and dressed the library with toys making it a warm and welcoming space. I have seen a few libraries now that have made the move to schools or Leisure centres or joined up with museums and it always seems to be a brilliant thing, the coming together of such wonderful spaces always seems to be beneficial to all concerned wishing Jaclyn every success with the Library move and lots of fabulous adventures ahead.
