Librarians Pamela Dunca and Shona Duff were expecting me, but not for the reason I expected. It turned out that I had left my little photo printer (which I use to leave a polaroid style photo at each library of the selfie taken with staff) at Beith Library ??? but before I went back the 11 miles to reclaim my lost bit of kit I discovered from the Library duo that they have had 200 children sign up to the #SummerReadingChallenge @readingagency which for a small village library is pretty incredible and get this, 60 children have already completed it so that’s 360 books read by kids at this library these last few weeks alone. Simply fantastic. Here I borrowed @guybassbooks spookily brilliant #Stitchhead with my new Library card.
