Loughborough Library was a short jaunt from the station through town on market day where all manner of fruits and veg and dog treats were on sale. The sun was blazing and I was aware of the ticking clock as I stormed ahead to join up. The Library building  comprises of a new build attached onto a an original Carnegie building and it is in here where the children’s library is based. I had a lovely chat with Librarians Charti Acharya and Carol Neath about the events that the library offer including regular author appearances and we all marvelled at the Carnegie architecture. opposite the library is a beautiful little part complete with fountain where i made friends with some ducks as i quacked down my lunch before heading back to the station with the hope of joining today’s fourth library… Leicester Central Library.
